Solid lubricants – TSM) are materials that provide lubrication between two surfaces under dry or boundary friction conditions under extreme conditions. The main types of TSM: graphite, molybdenum and tungsten disulfides, boron nitride, tin and cadmium bromides, silver sulfate, bismuth, Nickel and cadmium iodides, phthalocyanin, selenides and tellurides of tungsten, titanium, etc. The advantages of solid lubricants include: - wide operating temperature range; - ability to lubricate leaky friction units (the lubricant is not squeezed out and does not flow out); - no need for continuous supply of lubricant; - low consumption of lubricants; - low operating costs. A number of solid lubricating polymer films (in the form of suspensions) have been developed at VNIINP. In September 2017, the company "ISC " MISCOM", transferred the functions of the holder of technical specifications and the right to manufacture suspensions of VNII NP-212, VNII NP-213, VNII NP-230 and other names. Currently, the production of ISK MISCOM" is used in the production more than 30 enterprises of Roskosmos and Russian technologies.
