Instrument oils |
|
Instrument oils, petroleum oils mainly used for greasing of the instrumentation, relate to industrial oils.
The oils used for greasing of devices and machinery are conditionally divided into four subgroups: 1) General purpose oils; 2) Special purpose oils on mineral and synthetic basis; 3) Oils on a mixed (synthetic and mineral) basis; 4) Watch oils.
Instrument oils are produced on the basis of petroleum. There are also synthetic oils. Additives are introduced into the majority of instrument oils.
