  Aviation oils
Depending on a kind of technics aviation oils conditionally divide on scopes into oils for piston and gas-turbo engines of planes and various units of helicopters.
In aircraft are present two type’s gas-turbo engines - turbojet and turbo-propeller.
In turbojets use oils, and in turbo-propeller - more viscous, that is caused by application in these engines of a reducer of the air screw for which oils with the raised bearing ability are required.

Oils for piston engines
In piston engines of oil work in the heavy conditions created by heats in a zone of piston Rings, an internal part of pistons, valves and other details.
To maintenance of greasing of the engine in conditions of heats, pressure and loadings apply the oils subjected to special clearing. Such oils should have high lubricant ability, to not be aggressive to metals, alloys and other constructional materials and to possess sufficient stability to oxidation at heats and in conditions of storage.

Oils for turbojets
In connection with design features gas-turbo engines (GTE) of an operating condition of lubricant oils in them essentially differ from operating conditions of oils in piston engines. As against the piston engine lubricant oil in GTE is isolated from the chamber of combustion (a zone of burning of fuel); except for the toga, in the most responsible units of friction is realized basically friction roller, instead of slidings, as in piston engines (the factor of friction roller is lower than factor of a sliding friction the order). The shaft turbo-compressor in GTE is well balanced and at the big frequency of rotation and the big axial and radial loadings works without sharp variable loadings.
OILS for aviation engines.

Modern gas-turbo engines are characterized by severe constraints of work: heats - up to 300 °С and are higher, the big frequencies of rotation of turbines - 12000-20000 мin-1. Intensity of work of oil in such conditions of operation GTE is defined by quantity of heat which is necessary for allocating from surfaces of friction of details, and with other things being equal characterized by speed bearings oils through the engine.

The temperature of oil on an input in GTE changes from 20 up to 50 °С, and on an output depends from engine. In engines of the planes flying with subsonic speeds, it does not exceed 125 °С, and at speed of flight with number М* « 2 it reaches 200 °С.
The supply of oil to units of friction at GTE is carried out not only for greasing surfaces of friction, but also for heat removal from these units. For exception fire units of friction oil is continuously brought to the following elements of the engine: to bearings, cogwheels, contact sealants connections. The highest level of a thermal emission - in persistent ball-bearings of rotors GTE perceiving axial loading, therefore to them is brought with oils more, than to other elements.
Oils for jet engines of flying devices pass careful check. At an estimation of quality of oil take into account possible conditions of operation and intensity of his work in the engine.
Lubricant oils for turbojets should meet the following requirements:
Reliable greasing of all units and units of the engine with the minimal deterioration within the limits of working temperatures from -50 up to +200 °С;
The homogeneous and stable fractional structure that causes minimal vapor fractions and keeps characteristics of oil during all operating time of the engine (it is expedient to apply lubricant oils narrow fractional structure);
High antioxidizing properties and the minimal oxidation in the engine at working temperatures 150-200 °С and are higher; a heat of spontaneous ignition; don’t agressive in relation to metals, alloys, rubber to products, coverings, glues and other materials.
Oils for turbo-propeller engines
Features of a design of turbo-propeller engines are connected to presence in them of multistage tooth gearings (reducers) which are intended for transfer of the big efforts and work at the big frequencies of rotation. To sustain such loadings, how shows operating experience, oils with the raised viscosity can. Therefore to turbo-propeller engines apply oils with higher viscosity, than for turbojet.
The requirements showed to oils for turbo-propeller engines, the following:
High wear and anti-score properties;
Stability to oxidation in conditions of heats (150-175 °С) and contact to air and various aviation materials;
Inertness in relation to metals, alloys, rubbers, coverings, glues and other constructional materials;

Minimal vapor.
To greasing these engines apply oil and synthetic oils. The basic lubricants are oil-mix, received mixture on places of consumption of aviation oils МS-8pand МS-20 in the following parities (May. A share, %): 75:25; 50:50; 25:75. Application of oil МS-8rk in structure oil-mix is supposed. Due to application of high-quality oil МS-8p quality oil-mix considerably raises. Oil-mix prepares and supervises their quality under departmental instruction.
Oils for helicopters
In helicopters with oils grease engines, reducers of transmission and hinges of cartridges of screws. In engines of helicopters MI-6 and МI-10 use oils МS-8p and МS-8rk, in helicopters MI-2 and МI-8 - synthetic oil B-ЗV, in turbo compressor parts of a power-plant of helicopter MI-26 apply synthetic oil IPM-10. In the engine and a reducer of perspective and again projected helicopters it is recommended to use synthetic oil PTS-225.

For greasing reducers of transmission of helicopters use wide assortment of oils of various purposes which degree of quality is low.

Oils for gas- pumping units.
Gas-pumping units (GPU) established at compressor stations of various purpose, are intended for compression natural gas with the purpose of his transportation on the main gas mains at an ambient temperature from - 55 до+45 °С, GPU distinguish as a drive of compressors (superchargers): gas-turbine with a drive of centrifugal superchargers from stationary gas-turbine installations or from converted transport (aviation and ship) gas-turbine engines; electric WD with a drive of centrifugal superchargers from electric motors;
Piston (gasmotocompressors) in which the piston compressor is executed as a single whole with the gas engine.

Oil systems are intended to provide greasing bearings and other pairs friction, cooling of units газоперекачивающих installations, condensation of a shaft of a supercharger, work of systems of regulation and protection, and also: Reliable work on all modes - inclusion, start-up and an emergency stop at changing external temperature conditions; Cooling of oil with the minimal expenses of capacity on it prorolling; Fire safety;Branch from oil of gases, mechanical impurity and waters; Exception of formation in system air a proside; Having warmed up oils at start (or at a presence of the unit in « a hot reserve »); Stock of oil, sufficient for run between delivery differences of refuelling;
The minimal charges (losses) of oil while in service; sufficient durability and vibration strength of elements of system, tightness of connection; simplicity of service.
